they seem like they would be bumpy.

The RX8 rides smooth as silk with those big-ass puppies on there. I do a lot of low pile carpet licking...errrrr...riding. Riding; that's what I meant. The carpet requires a little extra lift, which the big knobbies provide. I just wish I could get them in both hard and soft rubber. My dual cell tends to tip over when high speed cornering.

Oh yah..... That underglow is da’ shit!!!!

it's all in the MCDs. this puppy has 3000

. I was going to buy the 5000.

Any LED under 1000 is going to be lame (unless you use multple).

are you using one or two coin cells? two will brighten em up considerably.

I think tonight I may try it with red, I got an extra button cell and couple LED's that are big..... I may try them, but I have to right an essay so I might not have time

In my setup, you won't get too much brighter with more batts...
I'm over spec'in the LED as it is now.. The LED is 1.7v and I'm pumpin in 3.0.

The Lithium 3.0v (CR1216) is one of the smallest button cells out with 3.0v. Most are 1.5v. (non-lithium).

if you want more light, use the same batts, but go with the 5000MCDs.

when i did my headlights we used two super bright white leds(not sure how many mcds) and 6v worth of lithium coin cells. it was brighter than most flashlights.

noxorc thats one pimped out ride!!! how did u place the led in there? did u drill a hole in the bottom? you wouldnt happen to have a pic of the set up now would ya? i would love to do that to my zz or ms and have one kick ass car.

that wont work, its only the outside of the chrome rx8 that is chrome, if im not mistaken(which i might be) the inside is normal.. also if it DID work, it would look like a glowing ball instead of a car with lights under it.

Nope. The chrome ZZ RX8 is chromed inside and out. I'd also bet a buck that absoutely no light will show through two layers of chrome. All you have to worry about is the windows showing light through.

I had made a neon "mod" on a ZZ. Cant show it cause the ZZ is dead and a Parts car now, but.... I took and sliced open a line on each side of the chassis (the corner of the tub where the side meets the bottom and stuffed 2 blue leds in there (in the space where a second batt would go)and ran them off of a 3v button that was on top the pcb. The light would shine out of the chassis and under the car kinda like a real neon kit.
