I actually have no idea who the guy is in the pic is , but with out the hair and the glasses I think he would look like Radar from Mash.

I believe that's Richie Cuntingham's brother, Clint Howard.
He was the little kid in Gentle Ben.

Nice work betty. I'm glad you did this now, because I'm actually planning something similar, so I got questions.

Is that battery the same or similar to the ones from the little helis? How many volts is that? How many do you need to power a miniZ/Iwaver board? Few more more Lipo questions, I have a tendency to run my cars until they stop, I'm nervous of overdischarging the lipo. Is there really much risk of overdischarging? If so how do you know when to stop? Would a cutoff circuit be a good idea/neccesary?
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

the cell i'm using is a 3.7v etec 80mah lipo, not sure how it compares to the full river cells but i think mine is a little larger.
to adequately power a miniz or iw board you will want this sort of voltage (1 lipo or 3 nimh). i'm told 2.4v will work too but it's kinda sluggish.

i was a bit nervous about over discharging too but it's pretty obvious when the cell drops in voltage. i use the same cell in my zzmt, once it starts to slow down i stop and charge. so far it's never overdischarged.

i guess a cutoff curcuit would be ideal but it's not needed for people like us :-o
i used to be cool

gave it a lick of paint today, it's still drying so no finished pics just yet.

to mount the body it will hook into the front slot and i glued a couple of bits of plastic inside it which will clip on to the chassis. to stop it slipping down too far i'll stick some spongy foam inside to hold it up.

Damn dude.
You're rockin' out. Like always, but damn still.
All the subtle but kick ass shit in the chassis, and then a cool body to suit...
That's the shit. :-o
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

I like the idea of that bit of plastic that clips onto the chassis.

Now i wouldn't hesitate to cut the front slot on my chassis. I will just click it on top.

Nice body work betty!
