there will be some more tweaking no doubt as i drive it around but initial impressions are excellent! way too much torque and speed :-o

using the futaba 3pk with it is just brilliant, end points set, abs brakes, steering expo tweaked, etc!

anyway have a looksee at her all pretty and unharmed while you can!

That's friggin' awesome betty. I hate to be the nit picky one, but I'd really like to see that back of the body raised up another mm or two. Then it would be absolutely perfect. :-o

yeah, there's a few areas i'd like to look at still, i think the wheel base should be lengthened to fill the wheel arches better for a start.
i just figured the body's about to get scratched up during testing so i better get it flossed now!

thanks to everyone for the kind words, i been lapping them up like drugs!

so i did some further mods. as mentioned i wasn't happy with the wheelbase so i gave it a stretch and moved the body further back. i took dave's advice and raised the rear a little too :-o

it's running a tomy 2.6 motor so the speed isn't crazy fast but definately not slow either!
i'll have some video up soon of it in action :-o

Perfect betty :-o

Seriously, that really finished it up, I noticed the points that you have improved the first time round, but I didn't want to say because I kinda' figured it would be a downer on all that awsome shit you have done. Get what I mean ? :-o

Anyway, I'm just gagging for it now! - A video that is

Now that looks perfect! :-o

Thanks for taking my advice. Funny I didn'y notice the wheel base until you mentioned it, but now its all lined up nicely, and the longer wheelbase should give you a bit more stability.

It always exciting when betty builds a new car, because you know a vid is soon to follow, and it usually goes something like, RC car, meet the sidewalk.

I don't want to give ph2t too much to work with here, so I'll keep it brief...
