How long does it take modeling putty to dry.

then the thinner you have it the less time you have to wait. I use that for my body mods and I usualy wait at least 1.5 hours before I do any wet sanding to that stuff. If I would dry sand a thicker section I wait 3 hours or more.

If that putty is in a stand alone spot and not filling in a crack or gap backed by some material wait over night.
