Hi pimps..
Yes, i have read the article and so on..
but isn't there a way that you could make maskings which fitted for each windows on a car?
fx.. I wanna print out a front window, and then i cut it out of the paper and "copy" it on some tape.. = There you go.. Some tape which fit the front window!

Hope you understand me..

I prefer to use really good masking tape for my paint jobs.. Like "Pactra"

Take a tooth pick, and go around the edges, and make sure they're nice and clean. Then you can go aroud it with a blade..

I can mask faster than putting on pre-masks..

the key is to do each stroke fluintly. dont cut half way down the crack and stop. you gota go from end to end without stopping. and if you see the tiniest bit of blemish on the edges dont be afraid to pull the tape of and do it again.

also get the 350z set from target. it is the easiest to mask that ive used so far.

You can also take a toothpick and a cloth (like t-shirt weight) and a little bit of thinner and clean up after painting. Heck, just soak the tip of a wooden toothpick in thinner and clean up after. The wood won't scratch the plastic.

I tried the masks from Tiny, and they are just o.k. Not a perfect fit, and like payaso, I can cut perfect fit ones out of tape in in less than 5 minutes for the whole car. Always use fresh blades and don't push too hard.

Yea the flamess is a nice job.

I take it you would have to precut the flames so you dont mess up the base coat of paint

Yeah I cut the flames on glass. I made a tutorial a little while back. Check it out, you can use this technique for just about any graphic.
