pen tips can be used. i used some plug i found for this one

and for this one i used the inside of a rca plug

now maxipad rc i believe you have asked enough searchable questions yourself.

lots of people use different things. some use pen parts. i used bike parts that were laying around. some use parts from hotwheels cars and such.
