Extended Chassis Project
I have never posted a project on here or anything, so I dunno if this is even the right place for it. Hope you enjoy
This is my second Extended Chassis mod, but I wasnt happy with the first one, so I decided to put my brain to work and think of a better way to make it work. I have never been a huge fan of stock Bit Bodies and wanted to give my cars more of a "real" look. So first I went out and got a DUBcity Mitsubishi Eclipse. Once the chassis is finished I hope to do a few mods to the diecast body, and give it a custom paint job worthy of a BitPimp, heh. Then finally Gotta hook myself up with some sweet German Alloy Rims!!! If you guys have any suggestions please let me know.
I believe (and correct me if I am wrong) I am the first person to have a low mounted PCB to lower the center of gravity. I am just waiting at the moment for a piece to fill the gap in my chassis, then I will be chopping the chassis walls almost totally off. Leaving about 2 or 3 milimeters just to hold the PCB in place.
Here are some Pics, I hope you guys enjoy them. I will try and keep everyone posted on the progress of this project.

It'll do just fine right here.. Looks real good so far, but I'd search a little more for a plastic body.. That's just me though.
I myself have never seen a PCB mounted on the bottom. You could be the first. It's the first time I saw one. Should turn out nice, so keep us up to date..

Thanks for the comments everybody.
Nope, Its just a centemeter or so longer than a Bit,
As for the body, Anyone here know anything about resin molding, I would do anything for the whole DUBcity series casted into resin. That way I would be forced to put a hurry on the custom paint designs, heh. I am sure there would be enough people around who would make extended bits and stuff to make it worth while.... Just a thaught.

*** UPDATE ***
Alright here is an update of my projects progress.... I have the chassis all put together... wireing still needs a little work, but over all i am quite happy with the way it is turning out...
In the next few days I am designing a custom fitted contoured chassis / pcb cover out of putty,
I have devised a method of making the width of the wheel base more narrow. so I think I make be able to get alloys to fit flush with the eclipse body rather than outside...
let me know what you think.
