Help me with rear lowering

Post by TheEvo »

Well, the problem is that i asked this questoin on TRC a couple of months ago, and they said that the last thing i was going to do was to cut in the rear tab. Instead i should cut in the chassis.

Now my problem is that i've seen Sinned's lowered Enzo and Murcielago, both lowered, and on those cars there is not a hole i can cut in the chassis. How do i then lower them?

I hope you guys understand me.

Here's what I've done.

Don't cut the slot all the way through the body. Instead just make enough of an indentation to hold the tab in place. Then shave the tab back slightly so it's a tad shorter. That way it's not trying to poke all the way through the body.

The other option that most do, is fill the old slot with putty, then cut a new one.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.
