Finally, a Corvette!

I modded a die cast corvette boby to fit on a motorworks NASCAR chassis. It has a li-poly battery, fets and a super slicks 2.2 motor with (I think) 12:1 gear ratio. It's fast too, even with the heavy body.

The back use to set perfect, but I had to switch the regular bit motor for the slightly larger SS motor because the power was killing motors quick.

Glad to see you moddin like a nut. Is there room in there to lower it anymore, or does the diecast body not allow it?

I had it lower before, but when I put the SS motor in it, it raised the back just a little. I'm thinkin I might try to mold a new body with lexan plastic, using the original to make a plug. I've already researched the info. Never done it, but I'm sure I could reshape the back a little to allow for the motor. I'm also looking into finding another corvette body. We'll see which comes first. Nothing I'm going to rush to get doen though. I could always throw the NASCAR body back on. That would sit perfect.
