Opening Hood and Trunk?

anyone opened the hood or trunk of their bits? im thinking about doing a suicide trunk and a forward opening hood on my S2K clone because i cant chop the top off because of the painted windows. if anyones done it how did you do it and post some pics?

Hiroto did this one for the 2003 year-end blowout contest a while back.
I've never done it, but I think if you just take an xacto and trace the outline of the hood in the panel lines, it will eventually come out cleanly. Enough pressure so you're cutting plastic, but no so much that you'll take out a big chunk if you slip.
