I was surfing for some info and I found a site with some good stuff on it. Thought I'd share. I figured this was the best place for it. It has instructions and how-to's for decals. What I thought was really cool though, was the pictures of some of the decal work. Expert work.

Nice link. Did that two-layer thing I was talking about make sense after reading that? Basically using white decal paper instead of masking off and painting white.

Also found some more of those custom hot wheels:

Yes, it did help. I'm not sure if I'm going to try your method just yet. I tried just printing them out on white decal paper. My first job isn't as clean as your work of-course, but it's a start. I put some pics up on it here;

How about that work at "Kustom Rides" though?! :eek:
Those decals make me drool. I...must...study...more...on...decals!!! :reading:

After seeing that, and reading what I did, I came to realize that you really have to plan the decals and the paint together. I didn't do that at all with the AE86. In fact, with that chameleon type paint, that changes colors depending on what angle you look at it from, there's a limit to how much I can make it blend. I was kinda thinkin about taking all the decals off.
