Anyone got any tips for removing the lego wheels used in Betty K's "offroad bit" modification? I've had no luck so far.

I noticed some other wheels used for your off-road bits. What are they?
(I think I might give up on the lego wheels until I can get a drill press. I'll just end up screwing 'em up.)

				maybe you mean these wheels?
they're off a hot wheels tunerz diecast. the tyres are foam pen grip tyres. that setup was really kickass on concrete or other rough hard surfaces.
but the lego tyres were the best in the dirt.
just keep trying, i made all those offroaders with really basic tools.

				Or maybe these wheels?
These came from one of those $2 die cast off roaders at wallmart. THe tires are just the LEGO tires that i removed from the rim and ground down the inside until they fit.

Now that I've managed to get a few wheels off the axles, how do you drill the hole in 'em straight? It seems nearly impossible.
I think I may have some of those wheels that you posted a few minutes ago.
This may make for a somewhat easier mod, methinks.
Thanks for the help!
