Boneyard cruiser
I'll start off by saying, I've got a lot of shit....container after container of old bit, ZZ, and other assorted parts just sitttin around collecting dust. I figured since I can't really afford to buy new rc's, I'll make em out of the stuff I already have.
Now since I've done many bit modifications, I wanted to play around with Zip Zaps more (MT's by far my favorite) and mod some shells. I stopped by RatShack the other day and picked up a Corvette past and present set for two fifty, and then a Mustang past and present set for about 35 cents less (not sure about the logic in that but oh well...)
Being the owner of very few ZZ chassis meant that I would have to make my own. Of course being a pimp, I knew where to go for the info on a chassis extender and found one example from Hue.....
This project is far from done, but I'll keep posting updates as I go along.

clone chassis chopped to shit
zip zap packaging plastic
dual MT batt pack
bit pcb and steering wires
Super Slicks steering return spring
ZZ springs
Super blingin rims
More to come.......

Yeah, RS has been coming out with some nice bodies. I think it's because they decided to go a little bigger. Instead of just slots in the front they actually have that extra place holder which allows them to fill out the front end a little. At least that's what it seems like.
Normally I'd agree not to mess with the yellow Stang, but then again.... Anyone who pays the 2 bucks will have that body.
You on the otherhand, my friend, are one of the pimp masterminds when it comes to body modifications and color schemes. The last Stang I saw of yours was off the HOOK!!! The Silver with blue racing stripes (Was that the 67 Stang body or one of the Gt500 SE bods?)....
Anyhow, go to town!!!

Ya man do not paint it unless you got a spare one.
I am impressed that thing looks really good for a zip zap. I never liked Zip Zap bodies I thought they were just too damn tall, even with some mods. After seeing that thing it gives me a reason to miss my bit racing days lol...
I don't think that is available in Canada so the thing looks spicky spam new to me...I like!

I haven't had the balls to paint my GT-R yet, I like it just the way it is. Its funny, stock, it sits way too high like the rest, but lowered it has the best wheel wells of any ZZ body.HirotoR34 wrote:I'm kinda debating the whole paint/no paint thing right now. Gotta say, some of the shells RS has been tossing out lately almost look too good to paint...

Good work on the parts car. I have a bunch of parts, but I'm just some steering springs, and assorted other little parts, short of having complete chassis. That bit Camaro I did recently was the last of my useable parts.
