Hey,

I just gound this site and i love it :? ,
i used the artic. mod found here and did it to my samson MT,
WOW what a difference, it goes everywhere, now to find a spare
blue gear to do the 4th gear mod for more torq, but it crawls great,
i found some tires off a old toy i had and modded the wheels so i go rid of the litte rig on the front of the wheel, and shaved off the lips at the back to make it all smooth, well it fits, then CA'd small washers on to make it look like beadlocks, turned out OK but i gotta do something with the body,
any one know where i can get a chevy body or even a JEEP body? :???:
Let me know what you think

Nice work.. it's getting harder and harder to find ZZMT's now. Kudos for cutting it up. That's a nice little track layout for the MT.

With that Samson body, you can cut the arms off and find some putty to
fill in the spaces and then paint it. Takes some work, but in the end
it's even more satisfying.

The Jeep bodies are hard to find. I picked one up on ebay for _gulp_ $35+shipping. I had to have it.

Cool Nate! Glad to see you not only tried one of the ZZMT mods, but you told us about it and posted pictures.
I dig the tires. Do you find they work better or different than the stock tires?

And if you're up to it, take a full pic of your track and post it in the track section here. It'd be cool to see it all!

yea,

the tires are a tad harder than the stock ZZMT tires, but they also weigh a little more so i makes up for the harder compound, the tread deapth is also a little more shallow, but it works great on my course,

i got a little work done on the body tonight,
filled in the arm holes with bondo and cut off that stupid bed looking thinghy and cut a piece out from the packaging and CA`d it on there,
tomorrow im gonna pick up some primer and start painting, hopefully this one wont turn out like the last one,

Pics to come in the morning,

well here are the shots of the modded body ive been working on,
it looks like crapola now  , but i gotta do a lot of sanding work :o to get it to where im satisfied with it :-( , i tore out that old bed looking thingy and made a top cover for it, i was going to do a real bed but decided aginst it since this is only my first time doing body work at this level of smallness. well let me know, still bondo work let so be patient,

I guess it's a bit late, but I was going to say Why not just get the American Truck body set?

It would have given you a Chevy Silverado and a Dodge Ram, neither of which require mods as extensive as removing the arms.
