changing freqs??

still new to my zz
is there a way to change its freq? like for my mini z u can change the crystal set so that you can have any frequency on the chasis

cause it seems there is nothing but 27mhz in the old bits and zz's! its driving me nuts

If its a se then you can change it between the 6 on the controler, if its a normal ZZ then no you get 27 or 49 and thats it unless you wanna swap pbc out with another brand of rc car.

You can buy crystals from most electronics shops. You replace the crystal on your pcb and then you can do the multi-frequency mod to your controller. You'll find the mod at 'www.rcmod.com'. Again, you should find the parts you need at an electronics shop like Maplins.
I don't think its that difficult a mod to do.

If you order them from someplace like ToyEast, you can get them in Japanese frequencies like 27, 35, 40, 45, 49, 57. Also, the 27 and 49 boost cars (MS Pro, etc.) will run at the same time as non-boosted cars of the same frequency.

go with this, this is usually the easiest way of swapping out pcb's for different freq's
