Nkok die-cast Escalade steering help?

Last weekend at Wal-Mart I picked up the Motorworks (it's an Nkok) boat/trailer/Escalade combo for 13 bucks. The problem is, it only wants to go right. It wont trim left at all. I took it apart and everything was straight in there but it still wont trim left. The way it's set up is the coils are on the backs of the knuckles and the front axle pins are long... through the rim, knuckle, and flush to the backside of the coil long. And in the center are 2 magnets run inline with maybe a couple of mm's between them. I'm thinking that maybe one of these is supposed to be facing the other way, Like maybe they are both pulling the same way and need to be one pulling on each side? I have'nt messed with this yet cuz I wanted to get some Pimp advice first. BTW, this chassis is dual cell, and almost as long as a ZZ, and when I ran it with the body off (I swear that body weighs more than the chassis) it was fast as hell.
