i've never run across any problems before, doing so shouldn't interfere with the controls at all.

uh - ya know, I don't know - I've never tried.
They are very similar if not the same, so I'm guessing that some-how without too much effort, yea you could put a clone charging port on to a MS controller.
Again I can't verify it, but I don't see why it would be a problem.

ya most clone chargers will hold a microsizer. some dont quite fit right so you gota fudge with it but most of the bullets work the same as a ms pad.

though on my bullet controller, if I actuall use that to try to control my MS car, forward is reverse and reverse is forward.

Another subject that I will do as it's own thread sometime in the future. A great way to build a charger is to get the WalMart clone that has it's own charging base. This one is cool because it has a button in conjuction with the timer as part of the PCB. This means that multiple charges can be done with the push of a button rather than pulling the car off and putting it back on.

Replace the charging pad on the WalMart charging base with one from a Microsizer controller. This will take some cutting, gluing, and soldering but not difficult at all.

Then, for gods sake get yourself a 1000mA, muti-voltage adapter and wire it up. I can't understand why people go to the trouble to build a stand-alone charger and then run it off batteries. To me, more than half the point of doing it is to cut batteries out of the picture. Your controller will be much more consistent if you're not using it to charge your cars, and your charges will be more consistent if you're not using batteries. Not to mention the money you'll save on batteries.

If you're interested, I'll take some pix if you need some help.
