TE seems to give them away when you buy a car from them. I got the Zent supra set for $10.50 and in that package you get extra heat sink,Batt and king 4.2 pro.
Man TE has some great deals and super fast shipping. can't wait for the next order.

Gimme any clone motor and I can smoke it in 1 min. I ordered 2 bitmod1 3.5s, and they didn't work. I sent them back. I got two new ones. They didn't work either. I also got a perfection motor for free because of the bad 3.5s, and they sucked, too. The best luck I've had is with DKS. I've had a 3.4 for four years, and it refuses to die. Once I get a new darkside, I'll see how long the original lasts against my 6-volt power pack. Muhahahahahahahaha.
-P.S.: The 6 volts will make a clone flip taking off!!!!!

The 3.0 "Lucifer Rotor" was the fastest till about 2 years ago. Are you sure it's been 4 years, and not just felt like 4 years?

I have an R-Spec II, and in a direct comparison with the 3.8 I found it to be very similar to the 3.8, but with tons more midband torque. Both motors are dogs off the line compared to the Perfection motors, but kill the Perfection motors in top speed, despite Perfections higher number rating.
With a single cell unmodified car you kinda have to use 12:1 gearing with these motors, but they take to FETs great, because they are power hogs, and FETs give them the juice they need. In a FETed car both the 3.8 and R-Spec II will dust the Perfection motors.
