Then maybe it's my current common battery, that lame 200mah perfection NiMH cell. I'll be changing everything over to KANS cells soon, so maybe I can get a more fair comparison between the Tomy 3.0, the Perfection 4.2's, and my 3.4NX, in all my cars. I imagine that when the current supplied to all three is the same, each motor will perform to its individual ratings, and then I can decide whether to ditch anything or not. I'm considering the purchase of a Tamiya Speed checker so whatever motor performs best on that bench test of torque and speed will be my top dog, and the motor I'll be getting alot more of, although getting a 3.4NX is expensive to do.
