Turn a PC mouse into a Speedo

Finally some fucking progress.....
Ok then, I managed to put the hall effect sensor next to the encode disc.
The magnet is glued to the disc.
As the magnet passes the face of the hall sensor, the sensor outputs a voltage.
Below you can see my butt ugly finger move the magnet across the face of the hall sensor.
Everytime the magnet passes the face of the hall sensor an LED lights up on the circuit board.
This is a test circuit only. I'm using this to see if I can capture the RPM's at the speed of the wheel. More video and analysis to come (12:30am, school night, sleep time).
