Post by ziprc »

I was playign around w/ extra batts, and i made a dual (not laymans). then when i took it out of the car and put in a single cell, the car would only move or work when it was on the charging base of the remote. help?

The car will always work on the remote even if there isn't any bat in the chassis. The car will be getting it's juice directly from the controller. It sounds to me like you got a bad contact problem. Check to see if the single bat fits snuggly, if you got any kind of free play with the bat it might come loose while charging and not charge. Try to bend the negative side in the chassis towards the positive a lil so that you get a snugger fit. You could also have a bad bat, try another if you got one.
