Bit "gear shifter"

For me the change to a boosted car was a fun but difficult one. So i have an idea for a "shifter" an added button which turns on and off the boost so that you can concentrate on just driving. It will run parallel to the booster button.
I have decided to keep the booster button for drifting in corners (if I finally get it right) and instant, momentary torque while in the low gear.
This is so you can run boosted without having to press the button. And you can slow down with the simple click of the gear. To me it seems better than the anti boost mod ( no offence)
I have to find a way to integrate the switch onto the controler. The button shaft is long and wide. If i succede i will post pics

I can't find A button to fit the tiny spaces in the controller. Its too big. I saw it online here at radioshack:
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?c ... 275%2D1565
But here in barbados that is all i can get nothing smaller. something like this:

Plus these are wooooooooohhhh too expensive. Here in B'dos i get the big one for half that price. Ill have to do some walking around.
Ill keep you guys posted. Goto figure uot how to wire it too.

. I need a spare controller to wreck all I have is clones.

I doubt it. Maybe if I repeat it alot. But unlike you guys I can't get bits on demand. So i treat them Xtra special

. I have a ZENT supra booster coming from TE. My seat hot wid excitement. When I'll get another booster? Time will tell.

I'm not too o'fay with the whole shipping stuff and money transfers. But If i try my best to find it here AND DON'T, I'll give you a holler. I really wana try thid idea. You wuddent happen to have a wrecked booster controller lying around?
Maybe then, cus i got some family visiting the states right now maybe we cud work something out.

The mod would not be that hard when he figures it out, and if you did send tanything, it would just be the controlers probably.

wut if we b sendin u r cars and controllers so you can do it 4 us? i'd pay for shipping+labor+parts. whats time estimation on 1 of these for a MS chassis? and how much would it cost?
I would only need the controller. But, NB: I do not know how to do it . I'm selling my current booster (to a local)so i cant fiddle with that. So I'll have to wait until I get the order from TE, THEN Figure it out.
I wud gladly do it once I get confident enough (so I wunt trash other ppl's stuff

).
So on that note, I'll keep the hood posted
