the polarity is reversed from bits and the old zzs.
you ask why im messing with the batteries?
220mah compared to 70mah.
these bigger batteries should also dump a few more amps. ill get back to you on that.

Keep us posted hog. My only problem wit the se so far has been the freakin nasty runtimes.

I was thinkin of doing the same thing last night, but the SE chassis is already too damn heavy.. I wanna reduce some of the shit in there..

ya theres not enough room. ill have to figure it later. can one of you post a pic of the bottom of the pcb? i busted the yellow wire with the resistor shrinkwrapped to the end and cant figure where it goes.

Just be careful

Hey Guys,
Just be careful on the dual batteries. We've had customer burn out their mini circuit board because of too much juice.
I'm not saying it always happens, but there is that 1%.

fried on a dual cell?
never heard of that after a year of dual celling.
weird.
wonder what kinda juice those batteries were pushing?

Try a MOSFET mod (13.00 by Micro-Amps (the power boost is not micro, so his name is truly a misnomer) plus a Li-poly. With a dual E-tec li-poly 210 pack (paralell) you will get 420mah @3.7 volts for 5 grams of weight. A Li-Ion cell pack will add a few grams of weight, but you can get cells from dead phones, and use their chargers.
Hmm...perhaps a Li-Ion kit is in order?
Just wondering-How much would some of you all pay for a kit that included a set of 2 Li-Ions, anti-discharge kits, (if you discharge them below 3 volts, you damage them PERMANENTLY), and a 2-cell charger. Charge both batts, and race all day. You will, however, have to discharge BOTH batteries, as you REALLY do not want to un-balance the charge process. Of course, all you need to do is connect them to a small, 3v bulb, and let the anti-discharge circutry would do the rest!
Alternately, I will sell the discharge-proof cells at about 12.00 each, although I need to test them myself. An apache 1 or 2 cell charger is about 30.00, and does a better job of charging them.

Umm....dual celling an SE won't work....there's a voltage reggie in the board....You can only dual cell it in parellel.....

I got mad at my se and took it apart and used the battery in my dual celled regualur ZZ and I am not sure but I think it be slightly faster than normal dual cell ZZs.

i dont understand how some ppl like regular zz's or bits over the se. the propo steering is way better than the classic zz normal steering. i like my se. cant believe you trashed a 25 dollar bit
