Since the first time I saw these cars, their setup reminded me of the layout of a 1/12, 1/10, or 1/8th scale pan car. I have been daydreaming ever since of building a pan car chassis, with a separate, and suspended rear motor pod.
The proportional controls, extra weight, and less that perfect body styles have got me strongly considering my SE as a candidate for that. I would build it to HO scale so I could use Lexan slot car bodies to further cut weight.
But the SE has lot of extra junk in it, I might test it on a cheap bit clone first, before i hack my SE
I got a plan, it's in my head, we're just gonna have to see how it works out.

what ive done is taken all of the screws out then replaced the ones that NEEDED to be replaced, cut some of the chassis off where it really wasnt needed, and taken all of the unneccesary plastic holders out of the inside .... it doesnt amount to much bt it DID lighten it a little at least
