this seems to be the combo. its still not totally acceptable speed but it sure is an improvment. i guarantee it will beat any bit on a technical course

I'll beat both of you pushing a "Hot Wheels" around the track...lol

You should try the "NX" motor hog.. Insane torque... I'll send you a clip of it in action.

I agree with Payaso, the NX is my motor of choice in the SE.

But the pink clone motor is probably the torquiest I've found, combined with those red gears, Hog just might take us.

I'll have to do a little experimenting...
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

has anyone dumped a vanquish in their SE?
I have a vanquish but no NX, I'd like to hear the differences.

Hog,
Exactly which transistors did you swap for fets? Like crazydave did?

Oh, and ditto on the purple zip zap motor as favorite in SE. I tried a pink 3.5 and perfection 3.8, 4.2, gotta love the NX motor.
Scotty, beam me up.

ya know i think the green gear is more suited for these things. much much better accel. ill have to try my 4.2 with the green gear and stuff. but i think this is really just a stop gap fix. but hey the control on these is friggin amazing.
