thanks pimps. yeah the steering works surprisingly. I've found that the steering on a LXX chassis has always been punchier than a TOMY bit. Also with the daul cell the steering is stronger. I need to add a 2nd steering spring though to ensure the wheels return to the centre once I've lifted my finger off the steering buttons...
Got a few things yet to do to really tune this 'lil bugger. A user on the ausmicro forum betty.k has developed a rear suspension system using a thin plastic h-plate and I want to put that in as well.
Damn this car is fast and fun, yeah!
