Yeah why?
I just did my first dual-cell today, and it works fine while ON the controller, but when off it - then i push the "go" button one time and then its out of battery.

Is it the so called "juice" that the car needs which is why the cars battery is drained so fast?

yea sounds like the battery in your car isn't getting enough charge.

if you've soldered correctly in your controller, all you're doing is adding 2 extra wires to jump straight from the battery posts in your controller to the charging stand on your controller.

if done right, now your controller has no "timer" when charging - so you need to charge longer.

don't overcharge your battery though or you'll fry it.
