i decided to rework the hinge on my monster in a similar way to the evo's hinge which allows more roll at the rear end.

i noticed a difference for the better immediately, the rear wheels are a lot more independant. i'm going to try it out on my ferrari as i'm having issues with it being too powerful! it tends to launch into donuts when turning at full power making it uncontrollable most of the time, no fun at all

That's kinda funny. That's the way I thought you were doing it all along, and I was kinda thinking about doing it that way.

Since the support in down the middle now, you should see if you could rig up 2 shocks in the rear to even the support out.

i love how it twists. betty, that is the most badass looking bit ive ever seen, i mean that s2000 has always been in my top favs but now i think it is the best offroadin bit all around.

actually it's the worst offroadin' bit! the big wheels are too much for the steering spring in the rough, it just points up hills and doesn't really turn at all. but on the concrete out back it's number 1! the odd minor obstacle is no probs and it handles like a charm. the sponge tyres don't grip well on smooth surfaces or dirt, but a rough even surface is it's bitch!

Holy cow! That thing is looking rode hard and put up wet to dry.

Hey, I was thinkin. Some silicon coated foam slot car tires may be the shiznit for that ride. They have really sticky traction. Or just some new foam slot car tires for that matter.

i just use foam rubber pen grips cut up for tyres on this one. they work beautifully on a fairly smooth outdoor surface like concrete.
