Dual Motor and dual AKU.. PLEASE help!

Post by petum »

I've built something like Dragster with dual cell and dual motor
But i've got problem.
The car after the charging is still working as he has one cell.
And there is a quastion. I must make mosfet 2.4 V?
I was thinking that one cell is for one motor so two cell are for two motors too.
PLEASE help!

no dude you dont need mosfets for a dual cell. it sounds like you wired in parallel instead of series.

well what are you charging with? you cant use a normal charger anymore. i suggest getting an nkok boat for it's charger. a dual cell should give you about 4x the power. they are a lot harder to control so get ready for messing with internal weight distributuion. also i suggest getting springs for the front and regluing your axle so nothing flexes.

here are two configurations. one is for wheelies and one is for top speed. for wheelies you will have to trim out the rear window on a shell. its fun but highly likely to flip a whole lot.
the other way rides lower but you will still flip a whole lot :)

U got the near perfect setup. As u got a dual motors mod already, u can try to put tri/quad cell into the car(with 1/4 AAA). THen u still have good acceleration while really high speed. with a 4.2, u can crack 30km/h mark easily.
But u definitely need FET mod, double or tri stacked FETs will be perfect.

What i said is just theory, it's definitaly achievable on a speed checker.(a dual cell can do 20km/h)
Don't think there are good place for the car to go up to that speed on floor or concrete.

One of these days, I'm gonna get off my ass, and put together a vid of me getting some scale quarter mile times. I'm curious what it'll actually do.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.
