A little neighbor girl brought me her pink motorworks truck syaing it won't steer {I have become the town r/c guru since everyone found out I have little cars}
So now I am stuck , what holds the twin steering magents in on a motorworks car , glue ? or am I missing something , when I pulled the body the magnets were out of the car stuck to each other in the open area by the steering coils{ ass backwards from anything I have seen the coils move and the magnets are supposed to stay stationary.
Any help or a pic of the top of a motorworks chassis would help.

Make sure you get the polarity correct, and then super glue them bitches back in...

Yeah..... they go on the sides, where the coils are on conventional set-ups, just make sure they are facing the right way like payaso said... also, while you're in there, clean out any little metal shavings and gunk that you will probably come across, since they had the BRILLIANT(not) idea of leaving the front end open to the elements.

How do you know when the polarity is correct?
repelling or attracting?
blue dots?

I made note of the blue dots when I took mine out one time, but if they were already out, then you'll have to charge it up, to check it with the controller. Set the magnet in there, hold the steering arm in place, and when you hit the button it will either repel or attract, you want it to attract. The magnet on the driver's side turns the car right.

OK, I just opened up both of my motorworks.... dammit there's no dots in there! Is this one of the ones where the board cover and motor clip are one big goofy piece, or one of the other ones? The two I have had a red led on top of the board cover(long since removed)... I have seen some different ones but never got around to buying them... sg219 has one of the 3 window coupe looking ones, and a few of the military vehicle ones, but I don't remember exactly what the chassis' looked like, just that they were different than the ones I have... Sorry, filelicker, I wish I could help...

I have tried every possible combination of magnet positions with no effect . I am just going to go to walmart and get her a new one , since I couldn't fix this one for her.
