CJ, I know You were selling a Hotwheels Kit racer, I am not interrested in buying one, but I have about three of them and I was wondering if You knew what kind of motors come with them because I know that the motors are faster than the 2.8 Zip Zap motors, Do You know if it is a 3.2 or what? :???:

umm i think the orange ones are the tomy 2.6. kit racer motors blow nuts. tomy came out with a great design and crap motors and range which chinese ripoff artists improved upon.

well I have tested these motors and it seems to go faster than a Zip Zap motor (2.8) from upgrade kit, where is the best place to get a 4.8 motor, just any hobby store?? thanks
And If I can send anybody some batteries for Bits can somebody dual cell them for me, then send them back, My soldering skills aren't that good and my soldering iron is too big to use on Bits, tried it before and it fried the batteries.

Now how much are we talking? I can send You some batteries and pay You to do it, or maybe I could pay You more to find better batteries and dual cell them? :???:

hmm well it takes 30-60 minutes of labor to dual cell and test and crud.

my freetime is worth at least 20bucks an hour. i have plenty of batteries laying around. time is the issue so im gona put a hefty price on it(i charge alot more than that for computer work)

anyone who will do it for cheaper feel free to let this kid know.
also dude you are better off getting a biff from ph2t. dual cells tend to break once in a while(not a big deal if you can solder).

Here's a pic of the guts of the 2.6 KIT racer motor...

And incase you think I'm full of shit...

that armature isn't from a Mini-Z motor....

I think it's this type of armature that gives more torque because of more solid metal, rather than those fully copper wire armatures like this:

Hmm...

I don't understand the concept of handwinding motors so can somebody fill me in on this, and I have heard about this all over other RC sites but never knew what it is. :???:

handwinding simply refers to the process of manually wrapping the wire around the armature. you can tune certain qualities by doing this, top speed, torque, forward/reverse speed, etc. but that's about the limit of my knowledge. just keep using that search button, something will turn up.

It's also the way Son_Goku kills all his motors. Ask him, I bet ya a nickle that the one pictured there is Total FUBAR.
