I don't know much about Bits with 2 speed or 3 speed so Is it the type of motor that gives You the 2 speed or is it the PCB? Is a 2 speed Bit better to have when trying to acheive a top speed or is it better to say have a regular Bit? What makes a Bit have more than one speed from 1-2 speeds?

its the pcb. at least the tomy ones do this by pulsing the current in "unboost mode" sort of like how a zz se is pulsed.
