Thanx to C-dub for posting DaGeneral's Antenna mod. As I said earlier in another thread I tried to do the crip cap mod and failed. So I was looking at on old boombox of mine and well.......




I was able to mod it in the stock hole with a little BFI ( brut force and ignorance) Just a question though. how the Fack do you brace that thing from breaking through the plastic. My controller is literally bending because of the weight. the Antenna is about 3 ft long. It improved my distance by about 15FT. Just need to solder it in properly for it to work better. I bet I'd get awesome distance if I didn't live in a concrete and steel APT building!

aight, first off I'd say just don't extend the antenna all the way...
but...
since you got it, why not use it right? right.
okay.
so if ya can, mount a thin piece of metal to the back of the black deal your antenna is going into. Before you actually mount it - look for a spot on the controller where you can run this thin piece of metal, preferably along the top and down the sides of the controller. This should give max stability.

SCHAWWEEEETTT! Thanx C-Dub. What was funny was after I give up I usually go back to it in like 5 mins cause I'm one of those ppl that curiosity will kill me even if it means more work later.

Its working good now but I need a place to test it outside of the building to see if anything is interfering with it.

Also need to find the batts so I can dual this biatch out.

P.S. I will be buying a few more bits once income tax comes in. Think I'm gonna get one MS and one chr-G. I found a local supplier and hes got good pricing.

I'm the same way, I'm always throwing a bit across the room cursing and swearing that I'm getting out of this stupid hobby - but really I just end up staring at a car for 3 hours until I work up the courage to have go at it again lol
