Moving an SE battery
Writing this from work so don't have a Zip in front of me for refrence but if I moved the SE battery forward then angle the Pcb so that large hump in the back goes lower do you think it would make a differance? Currently I have it just low enough, but still its that black box looking thing that's stopping it and it's the battery underneath that is preventing me from lowering that. Hmmm, I want to go home now to check this out.

Moving your battery can drastically alter your handling. Moving it forwards will give you more steering, which can be good and bad, depending on your preferences.
I always remove that hump on the bottom of the ZZ chassis, particularly when I dual cell one. It just gets in the way. I just grab it with a pair of needlenose, and twist it right off.

Oh yeah huh, you are talking about an SE chassis, aren't you? I just assumed you were talking about a regular ZZ chassis, because there really is no room to move the battery in the SE chassis. They really got things crammed in there tight, I'm lucky if I can get all the wires back in without smashing them.

Yeah it was an SE. When I went home I scoped her out and there really isn't a damn millimeter of space for me to mess with. Ahh well, I got the ride hight to what I wanted. So far I have the chassis tuned to perfection. Literally going to be the nicest SE I have driven. Now if only I can get the shell to compliment this mother.
Here is the before pic.

No more of the AOL bullshit...EVER.

Back to Finks rides......
Ya, its a bitch to lower these things. Not much room to work with at all.
Gotta find a way around the board.
