dual cell a zz se without soldering

this is wat i did but im not sure it works cause my zz se's dont work
i got 2 zz se cells
i took out the outer wraps of the cells
i bended them so the metal strips are on the outside
i put the cells together so the strips are on the outside
i put the batteries so the - & + are touching each other
the size is the same az 1 cell
