ZZ SE problem: steering stays to the right

Post by dbxl »

Hi,
new here...

Just got the ZZ. It was running fine, then all of the sudden the steering doesn't respond, and just stays to the far right. I tried messing with the steering trim, wheel alignment, retried recharging.

Whe I try to steer it, I hear the servos working...

Have anyone seen this problem before?

Well, Check to see if theres some wires messed up. If you dont feel comfertable poking around in there, return it. RS has a GREAT return policy.

The other thing it could be is due to debris. Either metal flakes stuck to the steering magnet or most likely hair and crap built up in there. But like said before, if in the first month you have an issue w/ a ZZ, receipt or not, shoot that fucker back to RS.

If the resistor you remove for the Duty Cycle mod board is gone, if does the same thing. Btw, remove your batteries before you solder! I rock :-D
