Hey there,
While trying to mod one of my bitpimps I have destroyed one of my steering coils but cutting it in half with an x-cto knife. Is there anybody who knows how to get/find coils to replace the broken ones.
hope for response

How do you mod a bitpimp? Wait, what.........With a knife are you serious!
I havent heard of a X-cto knife before
I know you can Superglue it back together!
Go get a soldering iron pick up some solder and get to work. If you need to know what the stuff i just said is. Then use the search button.

How in the hell do you cut a Coil in half with an X-acto knife? And by accident? I would have to use a saw to cut one of those in half unless yours is made of tinfoil?
My suggestion buy yourself another RC in fact buy a few and then read a lot on this forum on how to mod! Most of us learned to mod by using the forum and messing up a few cars. If you only have one car then don’t mod it or expect to mess it up and have nothing!

Yep. By the time you've fucked up a steering coil, it's a parts car. You need to be really nimble with your fingers, have razor-sharp vision and an expensive soldering iron before you can fix steering coils. Not trying to be a downer, just realistic.

Hi Breaky, How much did you cut off? If you just cut the tip off, take a lighter and burn the tip of the coil, to take off the enamel coating.
Once you do that Get your Iron Solder, and solder it back on the spot you cut it from.

No I have quite a few bits, but I was performing a offroad mod on this one and while cutting my chassis in 2 a made a mistake and cut quite a few wires on top of the coil. So as you can understand the coil wasn't working at first. But then I managed to repair half of it so current only went trough half of the windings :S. This was too little to make it steer, especcialy on an offroad-bit so I took it out. looked for othercoils from headphones and stuff but they are too small.
and don't say I don't know how to mod... I might be new to this forum but I have read a whole lot of this shit

Holly Crap this is getting ridicules what the hell is it with these kids these days! You ask them to type correct and use spell checker and they wig out on you!
Listen Mr. Sensitive I am a 16 year old don’t pick on poor little pitiful me! Type correctly, Use punctuation, Spell the Friggen words correctly and stop with the thin skin, whiney baby act or you will find out what its like to have a bunch of Pimps come down on you!
This is a Forum not a babysitter if you want to be treated like “I’m mister sensitive don’t talk about me” then go do it at MRCC they love little whiney baby newbies like you. If you do decide to stick around then read a lot and notice what kind of forum you are in and you know what all the info found here is “Free”!

SHAUN wrote:I totally hear what you're saying .(period) I'm new to the forum and these people were making fun of me because I wasn't using punctuation right. You know it's really hard to when u have 3 broken fingers from a dirt bike wreck.
they were acting like im a total idiot im not a idiot im 13 and a have built two rc planes out of balsa wood and, i flew both of them. i also race nitro and electric rc trucks. i dont know y they got be crap heads about stuff.
Compare the above text to your post.
I've highlighted what the other pimps were talking about, you can finish correct your post yourself.
Now, breakyaface, no one is making fun of you.

He was making a joke that the cars are not called bitpimps, the
people on this forum are bitpimps

. So when you said you modded a bitpimp
with a knife
, it was funny. This recent batch of noobs are really touchy

.
@SHAUN: I hope your fingers get better, then maybe you can start typing better. Did you break fingers on both hands?
Now the two of you, please, do not band together and gang up on the other guys

.
@breakyaface: You hand built an RC boat, great

. How about posting a tut or some pics of/for it in the correct section. That will definately show that you're capable, and will earn you some respect

Well, it looks like you two are really gonna turn it around for all of us... sweet! Can't wait.
In the meantime, SHAUN, if I read about your broken fingers one more time, you'll regret it. For the love of sweet little baby jesus, if you don't have anything useful to say, then don't say anything.
As far as the way "these people" are treating you, deal with it or leave. You've, for some insane reason, been cut more slack than anyone else in "NOOB ATTACK '05"... there's no reason to try and find sympathy, your fucked up writing skills aren't gonna fly. Again, slow down, read it back to yourself, and shut the fuck up about your broken hand... there's nothing you have to say that can't wait until your hand heals, if that's really what's fuckin' you up.

The problem is that I am from europe, and you can't just go round and buy a bit in every store. I have to order them on the i-net for 20-30 dollars a piece :S. Bought some fake ones when I found them but it's tricky.
