Booster PCB Swap

Post by footballarms »

I performed a Booster PCB swap to my Zip and the steering does not properly work. The right steering turns left for some reason but the left turns left. Could anyone help and provide a picture of a Bit PCB in a Zip?

i had the same problem with one of my swaps before never figured out what it was since i rewired it a few times then gave up. the new board was the same type so i know it wasnt mechanical. its possible ur insulation burned down ur lil hair wires and its shorting out, i had this problem once.

there should be 2 wires from the steering coils marked black or something. they go together on the v+ pad. the other 2 should go to the l and r pads, swap them if your steering is reversed.

a quick fix should be to swap the position of the 2 wires coming from the left coil.
i used to be cool
