Hey guys ,
I was just fiddling as usual with my MT , and came up with a nice way to get really tight turns. It also handles well , and looks pretty unique.
Rear wheel steering
I know it aint' much , and pretty odvious but It's really simple and pretty effective , here's what to do.
Step 1 : Unsolder your steering wires , solder back on the opposite way.
Step 2 : Flip the motor upside down (The peice that says "up" should now face down)
Step 3 : Place your body on backwards , and you now have a rear wheel steering MT.
Step 4 : Ejoy
All the controls will stay the same , Just like driving forward
My new MT , courtesy of ph2t (Thanks mate

No worries , no point keeping stuff to yourself huh
Hey dude , maybe you'd feel more at home at micro rc center ? This is more of an adult forum , and people will get pissed off with you using bad spelling/grammer. Just my advice , dont have to take it

What are the benifits of such an easy mod?
Have you started crawling yet?
Now with the suspension at the back it might absorb some of the wheelies

Handling , alot less wheelies because of the suspension like you said , and the motor weight being up front
I did the artic mod on my other MT , but im pretty sure this one will be hacked this weekend too
Should make difference while crawling , tigher turning , and more weight up front

Less flipping over

Tyring to get a ZZMT in a bits lot, so get to work on the investigations time I get it

This may just turn into one of those "must do" mods, like the artic mod

hehe, I've made a video of the turning radius too , it's about half the size , maybe more of stock too.
I'll give it some testing tomorrow , but with this and the artic mod , I think it's gonna kick some ass on the trails/rocks

Seems this thread has slipped under everyone's radar....
What's your progress like honda? Have you done the articulation mod on this puppy yet? I can't wait to get my ZZMT. LOL it seems that we're one of a few pimps trying to jump back into micros.
Beanoman, You, Tuner1989 and myself seem to be the active ones in aquiring bits.

Actually, I have a local source that's clearing out their stock of Microsizers, and have been hitting that up to pad my stash...
I saw this thread earlier and I am intrigued by _S2Ks "SSFL" mod(like the "drift" setting on a superslicks fully loaded), but I was going to wait 'til he did the artic mod to see how it panned out...

I'm just finishing up my artic mod now

.
Did it slightly different though , I can still use the stock charging terminals now
Pics up in a while , I just have a few things to finish up on it.
Then it'll be crawlin all evenin for me
Oh and then it's going to have an iwaver board inside in a few days , just with propo throttle though , Not in the mood/financial place to buy a servo atm

i have a collection of discarded electronics, old vcr's, walkmans, stereos, pc's, etc. whenever i need a component i just canibalise some old pcb.
you got dick smith or tandy over there? (electronics shops)

Yea dick smith we have , dont think we have tandy though. Hey wasn't radioshack once tandy radio shack ?
Hmm , i'll have a look through my PCB's and see what I can find.

He said "dick".
RS used to be part of the Tandy corporation, but now they're the Radio Shack corporation. I'd be willing to bet that Tandy still owns a controlling share, similar to what Pepsico did with with spinning off its fast food division into YUM. Notice Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC always serve Pepsi.
