ZZMT not holding charge.

So I've had this ZZMT forever, it's just been collecting dust for a while now, I just go to charge it, once it's done, I get about a 1 minute runtime. My batts shot in the truck or what?
EDIT:I think I may have figured it out, I opened it up and batt has scotch tape on it, either I did it and don't remember, or something happened before I got it. I think I'll look for another batt pack and switch them out and hopefully it works.
