Can I dual cell my ZZMT?
So I have a scrap zzmt that didn't work and is now part of chop shop. On my Project Rubi which you may or may not have seen, I would like to increase the run time. Can I take the old cell from the scrap zzmt and just solder it so the same connections as the current cell? Other than that question...Can I do this on a stock board without frying it?...If I can do this, how long should I let my new crawler charge for each time?...lastly, will this make it faster (since I'm adding more available power)? If you can answer one or all of my questions, anything is appreciated. Thanks pimps.

You can solder another ZZMT cell "in parallel" to the original one, +ive to +ive, -ive to -ive. That will double your run time and put no extra strain on the electronics. Let it charge for about twice as long to "fill her up". You won't get any extra speed or torque, just longer run-time. Note that the ZZMT is already dual celled, so you would end up with a quad celled ZZMT...
