Xray Machine

Post by sg219 »

A while back I bought an Xray M18 package from Gfunk.

Then MidgetMan and me hooked up with a deal on some One18th Beast Raptor V2 Motors.

I got a Proline 18th scale Dodge I'm going to paint for this.

There originally was a Fireball motor hardwired to the ESC, but that had to go.

I took some "Wet Noodle" wire and replaced the stuff on the Raptor (still wonder why they put such crappy wire on such a good motor) and then soldered up to the ESC.

I'm running it with an Iwaver TX. Great multi-ride TX.

This hauls ass now and with the foams on it, its riding on rails.

I think I need a different motor mount. The motor doesn't sit fully flat. (just a its, bitsy, slight angle, I don't think it will affect anything down the road.) Is there something out there? Or did I just put it in wrong? :???:

Great little ride. This is the first ride I've ever driven with foams and it handles GREAT.

I need to hook up with some for my IW's from AusMicro, that you mentioned somewhere.

Plus some foams for my TC3. :-o
