it is messed up, but not how you're thinking. It's not a normal fade, It's a kind of speckle fade. But in laying the paint, some of the red got too far forward and I had to alcohol it off. If you look at the A-arms you'll see where I was trying to erase the red and failed. The MAXXA stickers are also covering such mistakes. If you look closely at the fade area tho it looks more like... confetti blowing away? :???: The top didn't fade as planned either, hence the big HPI sticker

I'm still VERY pleased with the results tho. Every time I look at it I the hear popping sounds of anti-lag . Even if I only glimpse it

And the chassis shots are in :P

And a shot of the motor

So far I have installed:

Hi-tech HS 81mg
Dual link tie-rod
Team orion rear Ball Diff
High RPM metal shielded bearings from www.bigballbearings.com
Aktion RC's Sleeper RS480 chassis
Graupner Speed 480 BB Race motor
I also have a GM V3R ESC (not installed yet)

Those ugly wires on the motor came with it (got it from eBay) I have to rewire it and install some deans ultras. I have to get batteries and a 9-cell AC/DC charger. Maybe some IB1400s they seem to be getting good reviews. I'd like to go FM with the radio but that's too much $$$ for this little island boy :P. I should also be getting a 25t pinion from a friend.

Thanx
Maxx
