Info on what happened? Better pics without the heatshrink on?

From what i can see (Which is hard because of the black packaging + Light reflection) It looks like your cells got punctured and maybe rose a bit.

If thats the case toss them, the cells should not deflate or inflate in any way, once that happens no matter what the cause there toast.

actually what happened is the car hit a concrete sidewalk, and the battery was thrown forward inside the car overtop of a screw, which ended up bending the pack slightly.

The bottom pic shows the pressure points of where the screw was.

I did the same thing with my Lipo...The force of hard braking jerked them forward against the steering arm and put a "dent" in the lipo pack...The Pack still works fine though so I continue to use them.

...I'll be looking for some foam barriers I can add in to help keep that from happening any more though!

ok... i was quite worried that they may combust in my high end car while running or worse.. burst while charging; even though I charge them at 0.5C

1/2C ??

Where's the fun in that?? :-D

I charge my Lipos at 1C and monitor the pack temperature...They never get but a few degrees warmer than room temperature!

aha, i thought you was sabin!

like i said there,
i'm no expert but i'd say it will be ok.

BUT, next few times you charge it do it outside where a fire won't matter. monitor them closely for any sign of heat. if you feel any heat during charging then you may have a potential napalm bomb!
i used to be cool
