Rustler and Mamba.

Post by trekbikedude »

I have an electric rustler, the old style that comes with a manual speed control. I put an XRS in there though. I want faster. So I am going with the mamba. Which Mamba should I put in the rustler? I want OK runtimes like 12 minutes to 15 minutes. But I also want to smoke my buddies nitro savage 25. I also need to know what is the maintenance on the brushless motors.

Thanks for any help pimps,
John

I believe there's only one Mamba you can put in there, which would be the Mamba Maxx, and for you a 5700 should be enough. Brushless are pretty much maintenence free, but don't get them wet.

I don't know the Mamba stuff, but one thing is for sure.......
You won't regret the upgrade
I got a (what some would call) slow brushless set-up. A Novak SS+(8.5) system and I like the speed and love the run times I get with it, combined with the IB4200's. I can get about 20 mins, on average.
