Feeler: Cost of used, stock-ish RC18

Post by Maxximum Attack »

Sometime in the future I'd like to own an RC18. I plan to convert it into an RC18R. It's a VERY cheap conversion, so if I can get the RC18 alone and convert it I'd have my self a 'new' RC for quite a deal.

Problem is, when I look on eBay, all I'm seeing are brushless this, alloy that. All that isn't needed IMO. Hence my inability to guage the price of one of these things.

So lmk thanx

They're $160 new, so I wouldn't pay more than $80 for a used one in pristine condition. RCs are worse than guitars, which are worth less than half the second you walk out the door. Then again on ebay it all comes down to what people want, and what they're willing to pay.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

Gracias :-o

That estimate throws me into micro-T territory. The micro-T just slipped on my list of to-get's.

That's just dave's opinion, anyone else disagrees with that?

Disagree with Dave ? Hell no.. you don't want to do that...

Honestly though, looks like a great car, but the Micro-t has some big interest at present...

I agree with Dave as well. $80 is a good price for a used stock RC18.

Hard to find em bone stock though, since everybody jacks em up a bit. Me included.

I have one hangin on the wall just collecting dust. I love to drive it, but just haven't had time to.

If you want mine, we can probably work something out...

Used R/C stuff is usually worth half of what you have in it.
