A truck i snagged off ebay cheap. originally had a 13 turn motor with stock gearing and clod tires with all stock parts except the esc and the motor.(how stupid was this dude?)i got it off ebay cheap, sold off the clod wheels and adapters. bought some 5x11 carriers and bearings and topped it all off with some off road gearing, about 12/87.i bought a new servo also(traxxas stock on the pede sucks) a futaba s3003 or something like that, not the best but it gets the job done for only $10 from tower. i bought some crap packs and then before Christmas i got the masher 2ks and stock rims in place of the crappy original mashers i originally had on it. slapped a gp3300 in it and it wouldnt stay on the ground. knowing a brushed motor wouldnt last long i traded him my combo for his jr sc-1 esc and a 17t amber plus 30 bucks from him . recently reprgrammed everything and i did a little trading and bought a new hitec agressor reciver and transmitter off of ebay before then. spent the dough i saved for a mini t. somewhere in the mix i scored the gpm aluminum adjustable shocks and put an aluminum ideler in the tranny and a slipper cluth and some revo body pins. and made a custom esc mount. enjoy...

Well. Nice truck you got there.

I'm not sure how you got from point "A" to point "B" in you explanation. :???:

Still a sweet rig. Got anymore pics? Chassis or the custom ESC mount?

here ya go. some custom stuff on there. a custom skid plate that was originally black but is now almost silver(you can guess why :???: ) and the esc mount is something from a radioshack project box that icouldnt find a use for and just drilled some mounts for this. the heat sink is tamiya cut in half so it wont be sticking out and fall off... enjoy.

hehe. the previous guy drilled 3 holes in the bottom of the chassis also. dunno why, but it looks pretty good so im down for it. i rebuilt the tranny with grease and geared up to 14/87 and it still off roads well but its very very very quiet...Its the perfect little truck pretty much. it gets hot but the esc is no the best you can get and you can usually expect that from off roading through about a foot tall grass and leaves and wooded areas.

lol you know im just pickin. it runs really great. its 2wd, but some have converted to 4wd(i thought of it but with the esc and motors and all itd be better just to buy 2 trucks...)it handles surprisingly well off road and all because the front end is so light it just basically floats over rough terrain. today i was jumping it off a very steep hill that almost goes straight up behind my house. i jumped it many times and didnt break a thing. it would come off the hill and fly almost to the end and bounce off. the front suspension was landed on hard a few times but im not worried about my aluminum shocks breaking any time soon. speaking of 4wd i always wanted a truck like betty k. something smaller, the only reason i dont like trucks like the emaxx is the cost and batteries.
