Put a strip of duct tape, about 3/4"-1" wide, on the inside of the tires to prevent ballooning and help traction.

I pretty much encounter every surface around my place. I got hard packed dirt, patches of scraggly grass, gravel, loose loamy dirt, and concrete. Its the patches of grass where I'm traction rolling, and also on the carpet inside my apartment.

I think the ATX tires and sway bars might be my gig. I'm a little afraid the tires might get bogged down in the loose stuff. Hey SG, was anybody running 1/10th scale tires at the track? I'm thinking about cutting down a set of buggy tires.

Thanks for all the advice guys, I'll definately look into the steering servo savers and that drag link. As to why Losi would do that, I gotta say, these made in China Losi Sports just aren't the same quality of what I'm used from when I had a Losi before, but oh well, it's still a hell of a car for the money. :-o

I really like the ATX tires. Give'em a shot. If you don't like'em, I'll buy'em off ya for a couple of bucks. :-o

No, there weren't any 10th scale tires around. The rules wouldn't allow them. Allthough I have been eyeing up the 10th scale adaptors. :???:

Have you broken anything yet?

I seem to break something every other pack. I have a Ziplock full of busted stuff. I think I'll send it to Losi after I hit $100 in parts. I'm a little over half-way or so. I should be there by the end of the month. :-(

No, and I'm surprised too. Jumping in the apartment can get pretty dangerous sometimes. I put a dent in that Parma body my first time out when I flipped into the kitchen cabinet. I kissed the tree outside a couple times, but it seems pretty durable to me so far.

Since I have a pair of extra diffs, I haven't worried about those, and the damn things aren't breaking either.
I used some thick HPI grease for Savage diffs, and that might be helping, it definately helped the handling in the loose stuff.

What are you breaking?
