full review this arvo after i get a whole pack through it.
I only broke an a arm when I hit a wall at 50+. The plastic flexes, so it lasts a long time.

this thing is going pretty good so far!

I am now approx $240 (AU) into this truck, and for that money, i have GPM titanium CVD's, TOPCAD alloy front shock mount, 3Racing tie rods and oil Shocks installed, along with a new trinity epic (?) motor and two extra battery packs.

i dunno about this motor though - its got a decent top end but it lacks torque over the original. i may have to swap it back out and compare a bit more though, as i have only got a pack through each.

update!
first some pics (apologies, taken with my camera phone)

okay, here's the damage report:

$108.70 - 1 x miniturbo RTR & shipping
$36.40US - 2 pairs GPM titanium CVD's
$19.95US - 1 x set of 4 3Racing oil shocks
$7.90US - 1 x TOPCAD alloy front shock tower
$6.90US - 1 x set heavy duty turnbuckles
$60.00 - 2 x 1400mah Intellect battery packs
$20.00 - 1 x Trinity Epic 16T motor
$38.00 - 1 x Mini-T baja bug body + paints
$2.00 - 2 x Household sponges for tyre inserts

So in AUD thats $317.00, which give me a lot more for money compared to $299 for the genuine RTR minizilla. :-)
I strongly recommend if you can find one of these for cheap still, buy it!

hehe, i had it in mind from the moment i got the truck in my hands :D
plus a half-scale e-zilla just wouldn't look right without a beetle lid, would it?
hoping to get some video up soonish - just gotta find someone to film for me because i am useless at multitasking.

These just hit NZ, at a pricemark of $299NZD, $262AUD :o

I'm still considering it, but is it really worth this ?

I hate to say it, but that money here would buy you a genuine minizilla. :o

I would strongly suggest holding out until the price drops, or looking to see if you can score one of the buy-it-nows for around the $130AUD mark on ebay + shipping - it would still have to beat that price! :-o
