OOOOO I'm liking those axles, they would be sweet for a 4link, lots of space on them :-o

Now, if only those gears were metal...

They do look pretty sturdy. Hey Shaun, what is the total width on that axle without wheels on it? And do you have a pic of the front axle too? :???:

total width at the axle end or at the axle housing. Fuck you, I just got the bitch put back together now I have to take it apart tommorow and take a pic. I'll also get that messured tommorow, I can't tonight, sorry.

When I take pics of the front axle I'll take one with the servo on it and with it off it, and if you like I will take internal shots, its a bit diffrent from the rear, I have to take it apart any way cause I just found a bushing I left out of it.

On another site it was strongly suggested that the bushings get replaced with bearings since the bushings wear out fast and trash the gears.

He put bearings on the input pinion shaft and on each side of the diff.

Just something to think about while you have it apart.

Hmmm, propo control and bushings/bearing, for $15. This is almost surreal, I guess I'll have to pick a one of those.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

it tikes xmod evo bearings and it would be a lot better with them, when you turn the diff with out the pinion you can just feel the drag they are causing, its bad, the first time I put the axle back together I thought I put something in wrong, but the front was the same.

The bearings cost more than the truck

CD, when your at walmart check out the clearence, I don't know that they will have any, if they don't just search "mini crusher" on ebay.

A little flex, has some more flex to spare also.

Same as the 1st.

Max flex

Max flex Sorry for the blur!

I got the flex by taking off the springs, I tried just taking off the shock at first but it was way to unstable.

I put some fresh batts. in it and it crawls pretty good, its all stock, accept for the spring removal, I can't wait to put the Sonic BB motor in it and Xmod Evo BB's.

I'm loving this thing the more I drive it!

Do the NSSM (No Screw Shock Mod) for overlands, it's basically removal of the pins in the shock, and cutting the top shock body back, hot glueing the springs to the top and bottom parts of the shock, and viola, you have a very soft suspension set-up, not limiting flex, and you will also get some droop, keeping the COG lower. :-o

Funny vid man!!

I laughed at the part when you finally got some traction and zoomed over the laptop, the camera couldn't pan fast enough
Then it turned and found the crusher dangling off the other end

That dog must be fun

It was hard to film, I only had one hand to drive and one hand to tape with. I just got home, I'm working on a custom chassis and tommorow I will get some good vid of it on the rock pile  .

As for the chassis, I'm making it from a cutting board, I don't have a damn clue what to cut it with though :-? I tried a hack saw but that just wasn't going to work, then I tried the dremel and all it did was melt the plastic, now I'm trying to hold a lighter over a bit to get the plastic off, lol.
